Westham Island Nature Hike - March 27, 2019

Join Active KSA and Sustainable KSA as we go to Westham Island in Delta for a nature hike at Reifel Bird Sanctuary. While on the nature hike, we will try to find and identify many local and seasonal birds. Be aware that some birds will get close to you while we go through the sanctuary. This is an easy walk along gravel or dirt trails.
WHEN: Wednesday, March 27, 2019. 12pm - 2pm.
WHERE: Reifel Bird Sanctuary
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Refillable water bottle, and snacks. Please dress appropriately with easy to move in active wear. Please wear running shoes, or walking shoes that can handle gravel and dirt trails. Be mindful of the weather and bring the appropriate gear as we will be walking rain or shine. Gear can include: a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen if it is sunny, or a rain jacket if it is rainy.
DEADLINE: Please register for this event by March 22, 2019.
COST:
Students: $8
Non-Students: $15
HOW TO GET THERE: We will be taking the shuttle from campus. Shuttle times are additional to the event time. Details on locations and times will be updated soon.

*Hiking requires certain levels of fitness and stamina. This hike is easy, and it is doable by any level.
** If there is low registration for events, Active KSA reserves the right to cancel an event with short notice. Watch for email updates about the event in the week before the event.
***Active KSA reserves the right to refuse participants in future outings if participants sign-up for an outing and no show. Spaces are limited.
