UBC Tree Walk and Garden Tour - September 29
Join Active KSA and Sustainable KSA as we go to the UBC Botanical Garden and Treewalk. We are going on a guided tour to explore the gardens and the treewalk and learn about the the natural ecosystems of the forest and gardens. This is an easy walk along boardwalks and gravel trails. The treewalk is on raised platforms and walkways.
WHEN: Thursday September 29, 2016. The walk is from 2PM- 4PM.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Refillable water bottle, and snacks. Please dress appropriately with easy to move in active wear. Please wear hiking boots or runners. Be mindful of the weather and bring the appropriate gear as we will be walking rain or shine.
Note, anything you bring with you on the walk you will have to carry as there are no spots to store your stuff during the walk.
DEADLINE: Please register for this event by September 24, 2016.

Students: $10
Non-Students: $23
HOW TO GET THERE: You can transit or drive to the UBC Botanical Gardens. For transit, take the #49 UBC/ Metrotown from either Metrotown skytrain station or from Langara- 49th station on the Canada Line. It is short walk from the bus stop.
If you are driving, there is parking nearby and may be paid parking. All parking costs are your responsibility.

*Hiking requires certain levels of fitness and stamina. This hike is easy, and it is doable by any level.
** If there is low registration for events, Active KSA reserves the right to cancel an event with short notice. Watch for email updates about the event in the week before the event.
