Stanley Park Day - July 28, 2018
Come and join us for a game of Quidditch at Stanley Park! We will be playing a few games and afterward we will have ourselves a picnic and a dip in the Second Beach Swimming Pool! If you are a fan of Harry Potter and the brilliant game of Quidditch or you just love yourself some friendly competition, then come and join us for our Stanley Park Day.
WHEN: Saturday, July 28, 2018. 11:00AM - 2:00PM.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Active clothing is required. Wear shoes that are comfortable to move around in.
Bring your camera for some great photos. A snack and water is recommended.
If you are joining us at the pool you will need to bring a swim suit, and towel, and a change of clothes.
DEADLINE: Please register for this event by Monday July 23rd, at 8:00am.
HOW TO GET THERE: TransLink's #19 bus will get you in to Stanley Park. The bus stops at: Stanley Park Drive and Pipeline Road near Lost Lagoon. We will be meeting at Lost Lagoon and heading over to Second Beach to set up our games.
Other options: Stanley Park Loop near the Miniature Train, and a short walk from the Vancouver Aquarium
COST: Free!
No prior experience is required. We will be happy to teach the game to anyone who signs up.
