Sea to Summit - August 19, 2017
We will be taking students to the sea to sky gondola to hike the sea to summit hiking trail. We will get to experience new terrain that is not common in Vancouver, and we will be treated to a gorgeous view of Howe Sound at the summit as well as a cool gondola ride back down to the base.
WHEN: Saturday August 19, 2017 from 9AM- 6PM.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Refillable water bottle, lunch and snacks. If you wish, clothes to change into after the hike. Please dress appropriately with easy to move in active wear. Please wear sturdy hiking boots or runners. Be mindful of the weather and bring the appropriate gear as we will be hiking rain or shine. Gear can include: a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen if it is sunny, or a rain jacket if it is rainy.
Note, anything you bring with you on the hike you will have to carry as there are no spots to store your stuff during the hike.
DEADLINE: Please register for this event by August 12, 2017.

Students: $20
Non-Students: $48
HOW TO GET THERE & HOW TO GET HOME: We will be picking up and dropping off students at KPU Richmond & Surrey using a shuttle.

*This hike is an easy to intermediate hike, and requires some hiking experience and/or physical fitness.
** If there is low registration for events, Active KSA reserves the right to cancel an event with short notice. Watch for email updates about the event in the week before the event.
