Killarney Lake Hike - August 13
Join us as we take the ferry to Bowen Island to hike Killarney Lake. We're also going to hike to the view point at Dorman Point. We're going to finish our day off by relaxing on the beach. The hike is an easy to intermediate hike.
WHEN: Saturday August 13, 2016. The trip to and from Horseshoe Bay is from 11AM- 4:30PM.
We are catching the 11AM ferry from Horseshoe Bay. You must be there at least 15 minutes early.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Refillable water bottle, lunch and snacks. If you wish, clothes to change into after the hike. Please dress appropriately with easy to move in active wear. Please wear sturdy hiking boots or runners. You may want to bring water shoes or sandals for the beach. Also bring a towel if you plan to go swimming. Be mindful of the weather and bring the appropriate gear as we will be hiking rain or shine. Gear can include: a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen if it is sunny, or a rain jacket if it is rainy.
Note, anything you bring with you on the hike you will have to carry as there are no spots to store your stuff during the hike.

HOW TO GET THERE: You can transit or drive to Horseshoe Bay.
If you are transiting, take the Skytrain to Granville Street station, or the Canada Line to Vancouver City Center station, and walk to the Northwest corner of West Georgia and Granville Street. We will meet there at 9:30AM to catch the bus to Horseshoe Bay Ferry terminal.
