Kayaking!-June 6
WHEN & WHAT: Join us as we take a beginner's kayaking lesson at Jericho Beach on June 6, 2015. Please make sure to dress in appropriate attire(clothes that can get wet).
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Refillable water bottle and clothes to change into afterwards. Please make sure to dress in appropriate attire(clothes that can get wet).
DEADLINE: Please register for this event by May 29, 2015. First come- First Served. There are limited spots!
HOW TO GET THERE: From the OLYMPIC VILLAGE STN, take the 84 UBC bus to and get off at 4th avenue at Alma St. From there, take the C21 UBC VIA SPANISH BANKS shuttle bus to and get off at NW Marine Dr at Belmont Ave. From there, please make your way to the Jericho Sailing Centre near the beachfront.
GETTING HOME: If you are taking transit, there are many choices to make via transit. To head back to the OLYMPIC VILLAGE STN, you can take C19 ALMA VIA SPANISH BANKS shuttle bus to Alma and W 4th Ave. From there, take the 84 VCC-Clark STN Bus and get off at w 2nd at Cambie st, and the OLYMPIC VILLAGE STN. should be near. Please make sure to take some time planning your way home appropriately.
