Brother's Creek Loop Hike - July 29, 2017
Join us as we go to West Vancouver to hike Brothers Creek Loop on July 29, 2017. The hike is an easier hike with some steep parts that goes through a Western Red Cedar and old growth forest. Along the trail there are remains of old logging operations and the "Candelabra Fir" one of the largest old growth trees in the area. We will go to Lost lake and have views of waterfalls as we cross the creek.
WHEN: Saturday July 29, 2017. The hike is from 11AM- 3PM.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Refillable water bottle, and lunch or snacks. Please dress appropriately with easy to move in active clothing. Please wear sturdy hiking boots or runners. Be mindful of the weather and bring the appropriate gear as we will be hiking rain or shine. Gear can include: a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen if it is sunny, or a rain jacket if it is rainy.
Note, anything you bring with you on the hike you will have to carry as there are no spots to store your stuff during the hike.

HOW TO GET THERE: This hike can be accessed by transit or by driving.
For transit, skytrain to Granville Street station or Canada Line to Vancouver City Center station, and exit out towards West Georgia and Granville. From there you can catch either the #257 Horseshoe Bay/ Vancouver Express, or the #250 Horseshoe Bay/ Dundarave/ Vancouver, to Park Royal Shopping Center. You will need to cross the street to the south side to catch the #254 British Properties/ Park Royal/ Vancouver. Get off at the Eyremount Drive and Crestline Road stop. It is a short walk to the start of the trail which is at 1121 Millstream Road.

If you are driving, there is limited parking near the trail head (1121 Millstream Road) as it starts in a residential area.

*Hiking requires certain levels of fitness and stamina. This hike is easy/ intermediate, and requires some hiking experience or physical fitness.
